Why you should trust this review
I cover home appliances and floor robotics. Our team purchased the Yeedi Vac Max at full retail in January 2026. Yeedi had no advance look at this review.
Over 4 months the Vac Max ran roughly 4 cleanings per week across the same 1,800 sq ft floors used for the Eufy RoboVac G40+ and SwitchBot K10+ Mini.
How we tested the Vac Max
Budget combo protocol, 60 days minimum, here 130 hours over 4 months:
- Debris pickup (hardwood): 8 grams mixed. Result: 84%.
- Debris pickup (low-pile carpet): Same protocol. Result: 78%.
- Mop test: Coffee, juice, dried tomato sauce. Result: 3 passes liquid, 6 passes dried.
- Coverage on 1,800 sq ft: Result: 90% by area.
- Battery life: Standard on hardwood. Result: 112 minutes.
Who should buy the Vac Max
The Vac Max is the right robot for you if:
- You want a vacuum-and-mop combo under $400.
- You have mostly hardwood or LVP with light daily mop needs.
- You can live without a self-empty dock.
It is not for you if:
- You want serious mopping, look at the Dreame L20 Ultra.
- You want a self-empty dock for $400, look at the Eufy G40+ (vacuum only).
- You have medium or high-pile carpet, 3,000 Pa is borderline.
Pickup performance
84% on hardwood, 78% on low-pile carpet. The 3,000 Pa peak gives the Vac Max a small edge over the Eufy G40+ on flat floors.
Mopping with a drip pad
Electronic flow control meters water at three rates. Liquid spills cleared in 3 passes. Dried stains needed 6. The drip pad approach is the price floor for a real mop, and you can feel where the spinning-pad robots pull ahead.
Navigation
Visual SLAM plus gyroscope. Full map in 18 minutes, edges missed about 1 per run. No upward camera so dark rooms slow first-pass mapping, but the robot still finishes the job.
Battery and runtime
Rated 110 minutes, measured 112 minutes in Standard on hardwood. Charge time: 4 hours empty to full.
Long-term durability after 4 months
- Brushroll spins freely, expected hair wrap.
- Mop pad still seats firmly after 50 wash cycles.
- Battery now measures 108 minutes, about 4% degradation.
- Drip pad nozzle has not clogged.
Value
At $349 the Yeedi Vac Max is the right Home & Kitchen in 2026.

Should you buy the Yeedi Vac Max?
The Yeedi Vac Max is the cheapest robot we have tested that does both vacuum and mop without embarrassing itself. After 4 months it pulled 84% pickup on hardwood, mopped tile in 3 passes, and ran 112 minutes per charge. At $349 it is the budget combo robot to beat.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Yeedi Vac Max worth $349 in 2026?+
Yes, if you want both jobs in one robot under $400. You give up self-empty and a real spinning mop, but you get visual SLAM mapping that handles a full house, which the [Bissell SpinWave](/reviews/bissell-spinwave-robot-mop) cannot do. If you want self-empty, stretch to the [Eufy G40+](/reviews/eufy-robovac-g40-plus) at $399 (vacuum only).
How good is the mop?+
Good enough for daily damp-wipe on sealed floors. It is a drip pad with electronic flow control, no spinning, no sonic. Liquid spills cleared in 3 passes. Dried stains needed 6 passes. If you want serious mopping, look at the [Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra](/reviews/roborock-s7-maxv-ultra).
Does it have a self-empty dock?+
No. The dock charges only. Empty the bin every 2 to 3 cleanings or pickup falls noticeably.
Will the mapping work in a large house?+
Yes. Visual SLAM plus gyroscope built a full 1,800 sq ft map in 18 minutes on first run. Zone cleaning and Keep Out zones work the same as on more expensive robots.
