Stool firmness: a real, repeatable improvement
The Lab’s stool score moved from a weekly average of 5.1 in the four weeks pre-transition to 3.6 by week 8 on the formula and held there. The cocker’s average moved from 4.7 to 3.4. Owners often credit “the prebiotic”, but the more likely driver is the combination of moderate fiber (4.0 percent maximum), beet pulp, and the consistent calorie density (359 kcal per cup) that keeps portion sizes stable.
Coat and skin: gradual but visible by week 6
